NetApp Cloud and HCI Demonstration Review

This week has been a great success with lots of great feedback.

Yesterday we were in Aberdeen (as pictured), the morning started with a brilliant presentation on NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP, presented by Martin Humphrey @NetApp. We ran a live demo on creating the ONTAP OS on public Cloud storage (AWS), no hitches (except a fire alarm test half way through) – we didn’t have to leave the building though.

In the afternoon, Martin Richards @ NetApp gave a live demonstration on configuring HCI from vCenter and answered many questions on NetApp’s HCI platform. Thank you to Martin and Martin.

On Wednesday, we were in Manchester, thank you to Mike Andrews @NetApp who presented the entire NetApp cloud portfolio, lots of new and interesting products to keep up with, SaaS backup for Office 365 generating the most interest/questions. If you aren’t backing up O365, please do talk to us about this service.

All in all, both days were brought together by the audience, the questions asked and the support/advice Simplify IT offered in answering many of the questions.

There was a great deal of time and effort put into making this roadshow a success, thank you to all who attended, it was a pleasure to host it.
