SECURITY OVERVIEW
Summary of security settings and compliance status to ensure your storage environment is secure and meets industry standards.
Simplify IT provide a NetApp multi-store instance from either its Studley or Birmingham data centre, this would be configured with high-capacity SATA disk presented as a vault.
The local systems would be configured to mirror the data to the Simplify IT instance. All data held on the NetApp device would be replicated.
Any data not held on the local NetApp storage can be backed up locally onto the NetApp device, this in turn will be replicated.
The benefit of this solution is that any compression efficiencies within the NetApp device are kept when they are replicated. Replicating to other sources may result in loss of efficiencies and a ‘larger’ data footprint.
Leveraging the NetApp technology in place, the Simplify IT BaaS is essentially a SnapMirror-as-a-Service that is offsite, removes any access to the end-user, with zero rights to delete or access the data that is held in one of our Tier 3 secure DC’s.
All services are a minimum 12-month commitment and subject to our standard terms and conditions of sale.
